14A DUO Professional Edition
NATIVE HARDWARE SIGNAL | ZERO-LAG ARCHITECTURE
Experience the purity of Uncompressed Native DisplayPort Signals. The 14A DUO is engineered for professionals who prioritize system stability and color accuracy over software-emulated solutions. No drivers, no CPU lag—just pure hardware performance.
Why Native Signal Trumps Virtual Drivers
In the world of portable monitors, there are three main ways to transmit video. Our 14A DUO utilizes the Native Hardware Path (DP Alt Mode), ensuring your computer's GPU talks directly to our screens without middleman software.
| Feature | 14A Native (Ours) | MST (Multi-Stream) | DisplayLink (Software) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Tech Logic | GPU Direct Output | DP 1.2+ Native | USB Virtual Decoding |
| Signal Quality | Lossless / Zero Lag | Lossless | Compressed / Potential Lag |
| CPU Loading | 0% Impact | 0% Impact | Significant (CPU/RAM Usage) |
| Privacy Risk | None (Hardware Only) | None | Requires "Screen Recording" Permissions |
| macOS Compatibility | Supported (Dual Cables) | Disabled by Apple | Supported (Single Cable) |
Mandatory Connectivity Requirements
đź’» For Windows Users
Scenario A: Dual Full-Featured USB-C
Connect each screen with one USB-C cable. Ensure your laptop output is ≥ 5V/3A.
Scenario B: 1x HDMI + 1x USB-C
Use the HDMI to Mini-HDMI for signal + a USB-A to C for power. The second screen uses the full-featured C port.
*Note: Standard USB-C (Data Only) ports will not transmit video. Look for the DP or Thunderbolt logo.
🍎 For macOS Users (Crucial)
Requirement: Dual-Cable Connection
Due to Apple's native hardware signal architecture, this monitor does not support single-cable triple-display. You must connect two separate cables from your MacBook to the 14A DUO.
⚠️ BASE M1/M2/M3 CHIP LIMITATION:
Standard MacBook Air/Pro with base chips (non-Pro/Max) natively support only ONE external monitor. On these devices, the 14A DUO will show a Mirror Image on the second screen unless a specialized docking station is used. This is an Apple hardware restriction, not a monitor defect.
